The “Hero Section” corresponds to the initial section of the Homepage that is visible before scrolling and normally consists of an image, H1 Title, subtitle and a Call To Action (CTA).

Yes, that’s right, 4 seconds! How many seconds does your website take to load? Some useful and free tools help you understand the speed of your site: PageSpeed Insights; GTmetrix or even the Chrome Lighthouse extension.
Note: the tools mentioned above analyse 1 page at a time, which means that when you enter the URL in the tool, the results that appear concern only that page/URL and not the entire site.

Remember this motto: “Less is More”! Yes, we know that you want to increase qualified visits and that you need to convert and retain your customers, but “shooting” buttons on your website with flashy colours could confuse them even more, in addition to the fact that the CTA’s will all compete with each other. This disperses the message and demotivates the user who no longer knows “where they are at”.

You should use pop-ups strategically and surgically, never evasively, so as not to harm the user’s experience on your website.

There is no need to cheat. When they land on your site, users will want to find what they need very quickly. If they don’t get this, they will take a peek at your neighbour. “Bye Bye Baby!”
