The challange

The Challenge

Big Room had the clear objective of wanting to be the ‘Twitch for venues’. Requiring livestream at scale, they entrusted Dengun with creating cost-effective livestream capable of handling; thousands of concurrent video feeds, millions of simultaneous views and the ability to restream to other platforms such as YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.

Build an entire Vision AI platform infrastructure to provide streaming and transcoding services that enable artists and venues to stream their content — without having to hire three camera operators and a video producer. Implement a backend and API to serve content to mobile and browser apps and build a CMS to manage all the content and users.
